City eyesores and cats

7/17/2013

On the matter over fowl in the city, I hear people complain about chickens because they destroy gardens when I know for a fact that dogs and cats destroy gardens.

Cats and dogs make more of a smell, and my neighbors let their cats run free all around the neighborhood, but that’s OK? I believe not, so I took it upon myself to stop them from entering my property and would trap any cat that does. And once caught, if they are not wearing a collar or a tag, they are taken to the pound.

I also read that they complain about chickens being eyesores. Well, I can show you some eyesores in my town. Take a drive down Lincoln Street from Seventh Street to Ninth Street on the west side of the road. Almost all of it is an eyesore (almost all of it).
