Thanking Stottlemire

8/11/2014

In the past year, I’ve personally learned first-hand how much time goes into serving in public office. During this time, Don Stottlemire has been an example to me of someone who after 14 years on the Franklin County Board of Commissioners was still working hard for his constituents. Over the course of his more than a decade in office, he has faithfully attended hundreds of local municipality meetings to stay connected.

While I respect the decision of District 5 voters who desired change and look forward to working with Randall Renoud, I think Stottlemire’s years of experience should be noted, especially in water conservancy.

I’d like to personally thank him for his countless hours spent working toward a better Franklin County.
