Inspired by Rev. Graham

11/15/2013

Recently we were spiritually inspired again as we had the privileged to hear the Rev. Billy Graham preach his final message at age 95.

Rev. Graham preached the most basic sound Biblical truth he has always preached. 1) All men are lost sinners and on their way to an eternal hell; 2) Jesus in His great Divine love died a horrible death on the cross to pay for Man’s sin; 3) Man, if he wants to be saved, must put his faith in Christ — repent and change his life to follow Christ and make Christ Lord of his life; 4) Surrendering to obey Christ will lead one to a far better quality life of internal peace and joy on earth as well as receiving the reward of eternal life.

We thank Rev. Graham for never compromising the truth or ever changing what He has always preached. You are blessed if you have a pastor who still preaches this most important sound foundational doctrine of Biblical truth. Pray for him; support him and the Church that continues to teach this most basic sound Biblical message. We also must pray for those who have strayed from preaching the truth in trying to please their listeners falsely thinking the accurate message of Christ is too offensive.

For the time will come when men will not put up with sound doctrine, according to 2 Timothy 4:3. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear.
