Women’s tennis signs Washburn transfer

Washburn University transfer Lexis Hibbs has signed to play tennis for the Ottawa University women’s tennis program. She will be a junior in the fall of 2014.

Hibbs spent two and a half years at Washburn University. This past fall, she appeared in one singles match and two doubles matches. She went 0-1 in singles and 1-1 in doubles with partner Rachael Hageman. In her red-shirt freshman season, Hibbs played in three singles matches and six doubles matches. She finished the season 1-2 in singles and 2-4 in doubles. Hibbs won her first-round match in the Bethany Invitational E singles flight and advanced to the consolation finals in the B doubles flight.
