OU track opens indoor season

CRETE, Neb. — The Ottawa University men’s and women’s track teams kicked off the indoor season Saturday in the Scott Nisely Meet at Doane College.

Anthony Perry paced the men with a third-place finish in the 200-meter race.

Evan Smith was sixth in the 1,000 and Jeo Mendez took sixth in the 3,000.

The women were led by Chelsea Fullerton’s fifth in the 3,000 race. Jordan Calderwood was fifth in the 1,000.

The women’s 1,600 relay was seventh. Annie Kessler was seventh in the 400.
