The Ottawa High School girls soccer team needed a dose of positive energy after three losses last week. The Cyclones got it in a form of a 5-1 win Tuesday over Washington in Ottawa.

“It was mentally uplifting for us,” Ottawa coach Kelly Smith said. “We needed a win. We needed to keep doing the things we have been working on. It was nice. We are meshing a bunch of different people together.”
