Field events spark CH track

ARMA — The Central Heights High School track teams scored big-time points in the field events Thursday at Northeast Arma Invitational.

The girls won the discus, while the boys took top honors in the shot put, pole vault and javelin.

The girls won the discus, while the boys took top honors in the shot put, pole vault and javelin.

The top track finish was Brianna Earhart’s victory in the girls 100-meter hurdles race.

Central Heights competes 3 p.m. Thursday at the Pioneer League meet at Prairie View.

Girls

Shot put — 4, Markley, 32-4.

Javelin — 4, Markley, 91-5.

Discus — 1, Markley, 104-0.

100 hurdles — 1, Earhart, 16.58.

300 hurdles — 4, Earhart, 52.78.

Boys

Shot put — 1, Hendron, 49-8.75; 5, Schooler, 41-5.5.

Discus — 2, Schooler, 124-7; 3, Henderson, 118-4; 6, Webb, 105-5.

Pole vault — 1, Holler, 10-6; 3, Hermreck, 8-0.

Javelin — 1, Savage, 139-4; 3, Jones, 133-8.

High jump — 5, Holler, 5-4.

110 hurdles — 6, Hampton, 19.29.

300 hurdles — 6, Hampton, 48.83.
