Goedert wins awards

CHANUTE — Neosho County Community sophomore and former Ottawa High School all-state baseball player Connor Goedert was selected as a first team NJCAA All-American.  

He led the nation for junior colleges in home runs (19), RBIs (90), slugging percentage (.887) and 23 multi-RBI games.

He led the nation for junior colleges in home runs (19), RBIs (90), slugging percentage (.887) and 23 multi-RBI games.

Goedert also was selected as the Central District’s Marucci Elite Hitter. It is given to the 10 districts players with the highest batting average (.444).
