OU's win streak snapped in loss

It was a long weekend for the Ottawa University volleyball team. The Lady Braves had their 23-match conference winning streak snapped Friday in Wichita, 26-28,25-21,25-22,27-25.

Ottawa then lost its second straight in five sets Saturday to Tabor (23-25, 25-16, 21-25, 25-22, 15-12), in Hillsboro.

The Lady Braves had two players in double figure kills. Nicole Gingery and Becca Colson both had 10 kills apiece. Avery Enzbrenner, Taylor Bridge and Allie Arnold had nine kills each. Christa Hill led Ottawa with 24 assists and Lindsey Widen finished with 18 assists. Mohsani Hoveyda was the Lady Braves’ leader in digs with 25.

Ottawa (5-8, 2-2) plays 7 p.m. Tuesday at Saint Mary.
