Wellsville coach Eric Evans was not completely happy with the level of play.

“We are still not as consistent with our overall game as I would like, but I was pleased with how we responded to the way our opponents played us,” Evans said. “It’s tough to take a match from the host school on their senior night, and add the fact that Central Heights has vastly improved as the year has gone along ... well, the results showed that our team does have some toughness about them.”

Wellsville (22-8) plays Saturday at the Anderson County Invitational.

Ashley Sparks: 23 kills, 2.714 serve-receive.

Emily Newhouse: 40 assists.

Karly Patton: 15 kills.
